About Bureau Gelijke Behandeling Flevoland
Bureau Gelijke Behandeling Flevoland (BGBF) is an independent institution that focuses on preventing & combating all forms of discrimination in Flevoland.
BGBF is the anti-discrimination facility for all municipalities in Flevoland, as referred to in the Municipal Anti-Discrimination Facilities Act (WGA).
Our core tasks consist of
- a curative task: complaint handling, advice, guidance and mediation, registration, monitoring and research;
- and a preventive task: education, connection, information/training and (policy) advice.
Work area
The work area is Flevoland. This includes the following municipalities:
Lelystad, Almere, Zeewolde, Dronten, Urk & the Noordoostpolder.
